Outdoors Northwest at its Best!
No visit to Olympia, WA, is complete without a visit to the weekend farmer's market. The best in the South Puget Sound area, this farmer's market is replete with breads, fruits, vegetables, seafood, and plants galore! The market is close to a picturesque boardwalk where you can view sailboats coming and going into the city harbor.

Don't forget to wander around the charming downtown! The downtown boasts many cute shops and coffeehouses where you can relax and people-watch for a while before heading out to jog or bike around Capitol Lake.

Dining options are endless. You can "rough it" at a woodsy city park and barbeque up your favorite meats (I recommend going to Priest Point park), or you can dine at a fine establishment such as the Sushi House, Lemon Grass Restaurant, or Anthony's fish house.

For hotel accommodations, I recommend staying at the Red Lion near the courthouse. This hotel has comfortable beds and is very clean. Have fun!
